FAQ
  • Do funeral services include cemetery costs, such as a plot or cremation niche?

Funeral home costs include services such as transporting the deceased, body preparation, casket or related merchandise, and providing memorial and ceremony services. Other costs may include a cemetery plot, opening and closing of the grave, and other services provided and charged by a cemetery. We help our customers coordinate with the cemetery and will assist in your selection of a cemetery and related services based on your budget. We will arrange discussions and offer to handle these payments on your behalf.

  • Do I need to prepare any paperwork related to the death of my loved one?

When the death of a person you care for occurs the first thing you can do is call us. We will inform you of the steps and actions you will need to take. For example; we will need a copy of the Social Security Number, a picture ID, and if military service was performed a DD-214. We will also ask you for other personal information of the deceased. We will handle all related paperwork for the death certificate.

  • What about an alternative burial?

Our funeral home does not provide alternative burial services. If your loved one requested an unusual way to dispose of his or her body we can share information on organizations that may provide the requested service.

  • Are Social Services available for burial costs?

If the person who passed away was under Medicaid and had no financial assets or pre-paid funeral services such as; cemetery plot, memorial or other pre-planned arrangements then relatives are eligible to apply for a government financial assistance. If the deceased was not under Medicaid there may still be other options for assistance. For detailed information on burial cost assistance please visit (link)
